Set up the screensaver and adjust the reef to suit your room.

Find and install the screensaver

Once Saltwater Journey is available in the Roku Streaming Store, you can search by name.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote and choose Search.
  2. Type Saltwater Journey and select Saltwater Journey: Live Reef in the results.
  3. Choose the install or purchase option shown on the listing and follow Roku's prompts.

You can also browse for it under Settings > Theme > Screensavers. Open the listing and choose Get screensaver or Buy, whichever Roku shows.

Set it as your screensaver

After installation, go to Settings > Theme > Screensavers. Under My screensavers, select Saltwater Journey: Live Reef. Choose Preview to try it or Set as screensaver to use it when your Roku is idle.

Change your settings

On the screensaver's Roku menu, select Change screensaver settings. Use Up and Down to move between options, and OK or Left and Right to change a setting. Select Save and return. Changes take effect the next time the screensaver starts.

Troubleshooting

Why can't I find Saltwater Journey on my Roku?

Looking in Search? From Home, select Search and type Saltwater Journey. The screensaver must be published before it appears in search, and Roku says new listings typically appear within 24 hours of publication. You can also browse for it under Settings > Theme > Screensavers.

Already installed it? Standalone screensavers live under Settings > Theme > Screensavers > My screensavers. Select Saltwater Journey: Live Reef there to preview or activate it.

Why isn't the weather showing?

Turn on Weather, enter a valid five-digit U.S. ZIP code, and select Save and return. Weather needs an internet connection. If it says the ZIP was not found, check the digits and try again.

Why is the clock showing the wrong time?

The clock uses your Roku's time zone. Check the time zone in your Roku system settings.

How do I remove my saved ZIP code?

Open Weather ZIP in the screensaver settings, erase all five digits, select Use ZIP, and then Save and return. You can also turn Weather off to stop requests without clearing the ZIP.
